Session Information
Sessions times vary but I usually allot 1-2 hours for a sitting. This way the session can be as stress free as possible; allowing for breaks and wardrobe changes without feeling rushed or pressured.
What to expect?
I will shoot a variety of poses and styles from natural candids to more formal depending upon your style. I am willing to take the time to work with you and your children (no matter how uncooperative they seem) to create that "perfect" memory. Lots of times the best photos are completely unplanned and spontaneous. Let the children be themselves and their true spirit will be captured. As a mom, I know that your little one may not do what we want him or her to do. Breaks may be needed to keep children and babies happy during their shoot, and that is just fine. In that case, if you and your child are willing to stay longer than our scheduled time, a session may run over to ensure we capture breath taking photographs.
Where?
The location of your session is completely up to you. I am a natural light photographer and need good light to create beautiful portraits. For best results, you need open shade. The best time of day would be late afternoon for optimal lighting.
What to wear?
Just be you! What you wear will depend on your style and the look you want for your photograph. Wear what is comfortable to you. Solid colors or small patterns work the best. Busy outfits, no matter how adorable, tend to be distracting in photographs. If you are booking a group session, I recommend that the whole group be wearing coordinating colors, although you do not need to "match". You are welcome to bring several outfits to the session. I like to photograph your child and/or children as you would see them everyday.
What to bring?
There is not much you need to bring with you to your photo session. If you or your children have something special that you would like to use as a prop please bring it and we can use it in some of your photos. If you want to do a clothing change bring everything you will need for that outfit.
When can I see my photographs?
Photos are not placed online until they have been edited. It takes about 1 week for photo editing to be completed. When your proofing gallery is online, you will receive an email with your gallery password. Enter that password in the "Clients" section and click submit.
How do I order prints?
You may order online or in person
To order prints online:
• Sign into your gallery with your password
• Select your favorites by clicking the button on the lower right of each photo
• Once all of your favorites are selected, click on the shopping cart
• Enter your information in the fields
• Each of your favorites will appear, select the product you wish to purchase.
What forms of payment do you accept?

When will I receive my prints?
It takes approximately 2 weeks once your order is placed.
